Eftersom det var så fint väder, ca: 21 grader med någorlunda västanvind, bestämde jag mig ganska sent för att gå ut och gå en runda i snabbt tempo.

Det blev 3k rundan 1 1/2 gång, med en liten avstickar under första rundan inom Emporia för att posta ett brev..

Efter slutförd runda, kom den första Comic:en från The Conqueror Events Avengers Challenge King of Wakanda.

In the heart of Africa lies an isolationist nation shrouded in mystery. Wakanda has never been conquered or invaded; it has massive untapped natural resources and technology beyond any known in the rest of the world, owing to its uniquely precious metal, Vibranium. What is more, Wakanda is led by the Black Panther, a formidable warrior with royal blood.

The leadership role is passed down in the royal family, but once a year, anyone can challenge the king and assume the throne. This is how T’Challa becomes the Black Panther. T’Chaka, his father, was the Black Panther before him, but he met a tragic end at the hands of Klaw, a villainous scientist intent on plundering Wakanda’s Vibranium. N’Jobu, T’Chaka’s brother, took the mantle then, becoming the Black Panther and ruling until he was defeated by T’Challa.

After killing T’Chaka and almost dying at the hands of little T’Challa, Klaw was rescued by the Dutch government and experimented on. Now he is looking to finish the job and eliminate the Wakandan royal family. Together with Rhino, Radioactive Man, Black Knight, Cannibal, Batroc the Leaper, and the forces of neighboring Niganda, Klaw organizes an attack on the nation-state. 

Wakanda’s sophisticated defense system kicks into action, but the situation calls for a hands-on response from both T’Challa and N’Jobu. 

Through strong leadership, sheer determination, and reliance on his loyal family, the Black Panther destroys the threat and brings peace back to Wakanda.

Denna morgon kom det fjärde vykortet från The Conqueror Events Avengers Challenge – Arc Reactor.

Tony Stark’s body is kept alive by machines after his mind has been erased to protect the Superhuman Registration Database. In other words, Tony is dying.

Anticipating the worst, Tony left instructions for his friends should they ever try to bring him back. Each of his allies has a task tailored to their strengths. Maria Hill must retrieve a hard drive containing a backup copy of his mind, while Rhodey is tasked with reconfiguring the repulsor technology once implanted in Pepper Potts’s chest. Once everything is prepared, electrodes are attached to Captain America’s shield and Thor is called upon to strike it, creating a surge powerful enough to jump-start Tony’s heart.

The plan doesn’t go as expected. The problem is not Tony’s body but his mind. While all his allies struggle to bring him back from a vegetative state, Tony is lost within his own consciousness, surrounded by fragments of memory and fear, unable to remember who he is.

Tony Stark returns at last when Doctor Strange enters his consciousness and helps him reclaim his identity and sense of purpose, giving him a true second chance at life.

When Maya Hansen, a brilliant scientist from FuturePharm, discovers the lifeless body of her boss, Aldrich Killian, she immediately calls her old friend Tony Stark. Maya and her now-deceased boss had been working on a formula called Extremis, a super-soldier serum comparable to the one that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America. Before his untimely demise, Killian gave the untested technological virus to terrorists.

The serum is administered to a man named Mallen, and it completely rewrites his genetic code, giving him incredible powers such as super speed, super strength, and even fire breath. Extremis gives Mallen such an edge that Tony Stark, clad in his suit, can hardly stand against him. Their first encounter almost ends in tragedy when Tony’s body is crushed and he’s left in critical condition.

Tony realizes that he needs to level the playing field if he is to defeat Mallen. He needs Extremis. It takes some convincing, but Maya finally relents and agrees to give him a modified dose of the serum. The risks are immense, as the serum hasn’t been fully tested and the result can quickly swing from super-powers to death while Tony’s genes are rearranged. Fortunately, the result is astonishing: The armor suit undersheath is stored in Tony’s body, and he can control it with his mind. 

With this new upgrade, Mallen doesn’t stand a chance. However, it turns out that fighting him isn’t the hardest thing Tony has to do. When he discovers that Maya was involved in supplying Extremis to the terrorists, Tony is forced to turn her in.
